Hey everyone! I just arrived in Seoul last week and I'm trying to open a bank account. My university told me I need one for the scholarship deposit, but I'm confused about which bank to choose.

I went to KB Kookmin Bank near my campus but they said I need an ARC (Alien Registration Card) first. The problem is my ARC appointment is 3 weeks away. Is there any bank that lets you open an account with just a passport?

Also, which bank do you recommend for international students? I've heard Woori Bank and KEB Hana are good for foreigners. Any tips on what documents to bring? Thanks in advance!
